Chicken with Mushrooms in Sour Cream
Ingredients
- 600 g Chicken fillet Cut into pieces.
- 300 g Mushrooms Fresh or canned, sliced.
- 200 g Sour cream Use full-fat sour cream for better flavor.
- 1 pc Onion Diced.
- 2 tbsp Oil For frying.
- to taste Salt For seasoning.
- to taste Pepper For seasoning.
- 2 cloves Garlic Finely chopped.
Method
- Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the onion until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the diced chicken fillet and fry until golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.
- Add the mushrooms and garlic, cooking for another 5 minutes until the mushrooms are soft.
- Pour in the sour cream, add salt and pepper, stir and bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and simmer the dish for about 20-25 minutes until the chicken is done.
- Serve the chicken with mushrooms in sour cream alongside mashed potatoes or a simple salad, or enjoy it on its own.
