Chocolate Cheese Casserole
Ingredients
- 500 g cheese It's best to use fresh cheese or ricotta for extra creaminess.
- 3 eggs For binding the mixture and adding fluffiness.
- 150 g sugar Adjust to taste.
- 100 g chocolate Use dark chocolate for a rich flavor.
- 10 g vanilla sugar For aroma.
- 50 g flour For thickening the mixture.
- 1 tsp baking powder Adds lightness to the casserole.
Method
- In a large bowl, mix the cheese, sugar, and vanilla sugar until smooth.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and pour it into the cheese mixture, stirring continuously.
- Add the flour and baking powder, and mix until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 50-60 minutes.
- Allow the casserole to cool before slicing and serving.
- For a more interesting presentation, you can divide the cheese mixture into two parts. Add chocolate to one part and leave the other plain. Layer the chocolate mixture first, followed by the plain, or alternate layers. This combination looks impressive when sliced.
